Pithos cloud storage service: Development of a cloud file storage service (Pithos) offered to the Greek academic and research community (via a Shibboleth federation) for storing and managing files online. Scalable information system offering a REST API, WebDAV access, multiple UIs (web rich client, mobile clients, XUL desktop app / firefox plugin). JEE core server running on GRNET-managed cloud infrastructure, Android and iOS mobile clients. Open sourced as GSS (and related OSS projects).

Development of a desktop software product that supports Electronic Health Record management and can handle multiple blood pressure monitoring devices (Microlife products) via USB and Bluetooth for retrieving measurements and calculating on the fly related EU and US medical guidelines. Java RCP implementation with native (JNI) USB and Bluetooth drivers.

Delivered web-based J2EE application, integrating with SAP R/3, a CRM, various custom databases, the company LDAP directory server and the Micro Strategy Data Warehouse environment. It supports the complete workflow of pre-approvals, approvals and analysis of promotional expenses (including medical conferences, research, sponsorships, etc.)

Implemented a distributed, web-based, enterprise system for debt management and collection and the related legal procedures. The system provides Intranet and secured Internet (external users) user interfaces as well as system interfaces for the integration with the Banking Software System, the corporate Directory Server, the Legal Department Support System and various other existing databases and systems. Distributed web based information system with internal (government Intranet) and external (Internet public access) for the management of investment laws and related documents, supporting complex document management functionality including full text search and retrieval. Full J2EE implementation.

Distributed web based information system for Intranet use (government Intranet) that implements a central registry with reporting services for all shipping companies. Full J2EE implementation.

The Cyprus Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (CYS) required a set of distributed, thin-client applications to support the process of creation, management, storage, and access of Standards documents and specific EU Directives.
